Research Fellow
André Couto Dias, M.D., is a Research Fellow at the Fahey-Zarnegar Lab. His main interests lie in endocrine disease—both benign and malignant—with a particular focus on thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders. His work spans clinical, translational, and basic research. He graduated from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, and has completed clinical and research internships in India, Germany, and the United Kingdom. His long-term goal is to pursue a career in academic surgery that integrates research, teaching, and clinical excellence. Outside of medicine, André is an avid violinist and enjoys staying active through sports.
